Ronald "Ronnie" D. Nester, Sr.

Funeral service for Ronnie Nester will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at 2:30 PM at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Gordon and Bro. Paul Roney officiating. Burial to follow at Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Ronnie Nester, age 74, of Meridian passed away peacefully at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Dianne Waller Nester; children, Ronald "Ron" D. Nester, Jr. and Jeffery S. Nester; granddaughter, Bella Nester; sister, Daisy Mabry; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Lena Nester; siblings, John Albrooke and Frances Mabry.

Pallbearers will be Darryl Brewer, Rusty Brewer, Mike Mabry, Keith Mabry, Prentiss Albrooke, and Sam Hurt.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles McGlawn and Davy McGlawn.
