Ronald "Scotty" Davidson Services for Ronald "Scotty" Davidson will be held Monday, March 29, 2010 at 1:00, at Bucatunna Baptist Church with Brother Derek Simmons and Brother Richard Coats officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Davidson, 47, of the Snell Community, passed away on March 26, 2010 at Rush Hospital. He was employed at Henderson Steel, where he considered his boss and co-workers as family. He graduated from Clarkdale High School in 1980 where he played baseball and football. "Scotty" was known as "Hawk" to other players and classmates. He was a kind and respectful man who deeply loved his family and friends. His pride and joy was his son, Trevor. A day never went by when he didn't make sure to tell Trevor how much he loved him. "Scotty" loved hunting, fishing, and NASCAR races. He had many wonderful friends, whom he considered blessings. He was a man of his word by never making a promise that he could not keep. He kept people laughing as he told his jokes and stories. "Scotty" often spoke of how grateful he was for the outpouring love and support he received during his illness. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Angela Hagwood Davidson; son, Trevor Davidson; mother, Emma Dean Davidson; brother, Ray Davidson and his wife Stacey; brother in law, Chris Hagwood and his wife Kym; father and mother in-law, Van and Bobbie Hagwood; nieces, Morgan, Lauren, Karsen Davidson, and Lexie Hagwood; nephews, Ethan and Lane Hagwood; step-grandmother, Anne Jellenc; several special aunts and uncles; numerous cousins and many true and faithful friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Ray Davidson; grandfathers, Ray Davidson, Leon Jellenc, and Rex Robinson; grandmothers, Leola Davidson Tims and Maudean Jellenc; great-grandfathers, Liston Tims and Buddy Reynolds; great grandmothers, Bessie Reynolds and Ade Tims. Pallbearers will be Tony Davidson, Dwight Vaughn, Mike Holloman, Jeff Hill, Matthew Hill, Rob Mosley, Ryan Mosley and Phillip Mosley.
