Ronald David "Ronnie" Warren Services for Ronald David "Ronnie" Warren will be held Friday, December 2, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Mrs. Major Evelyn Thornhill and Reverend Doug Goodman officiating. Burial will be in Toomsuba Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Warren, age 56, of Toomsuba, died Tuesday, November 29, 2011 in Birmingham, Alabama. He was employed with EMEPA for 34 years where his last duty was superintendent of construction. He was a member of the American Legion and Sons of Confederate Veterans which included the W.D. Cameron Camp and the General Nathan Bedford Forrest Camp where he was a charter member. Mr. Warren was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army and the U.S. Army NGT with a combined 16 years of service. He was also a member of Southside Baptist Church, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, and the 4H. He will be remembered as a devoted husband and loving father. He is survived by his wife Shirley Warren of Toomsuba, MS; daughters Lee Ann Stroud and husband Mark of Philadelphia, MS, and Magic Allen of Toomsuba, MS; son John David Oliver of Toomsuba; beloved dog Rocky; brother Charlie Warren of Meridian, MS; sisters Frances Scott of Elkhart, TX, Peggy Tew of Manchester, Conn., Alice Slayton of Meridian, MS, and Rita Benton and husband James of Meridian, MS; grandchildren Mack W. Allen IV of Toomsuba, MS, Jackson Stroud of Philadelphia, MS, and Aubry Smith of Toomsuba, MS; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Adam Mark Oliver; brothers Johnny and Earl Warren; and mother Thelma Smith. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 1, 2011, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
