Funeral services for Ronnie Skinner will be held Friday, June 2, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Pastor Terrance Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Skinner, age 65, of Meridian, passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 peacefully at his home.

Ronnie was a hardworking man, working for many years at Peavey and Atlas Roofing. He was a gentle, quiet and giving man. He would do anything for anyone. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Tamala Smith; grandchildren, Tayler Smith (Jake), Camaren Smith (Katelyn), Jaden Smith, and Peyton Smith; great grandchildren, Pakston and Aunna Smith; mother, Maggie Heblon; sister, Diane S. McWilliams; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Skinner; sister, Wanda S. Weathers; brother-in-law, Bill E. McWilliams Jr.

Pallbearers will be Delaney McWilliams, Mickey McKiethen, Jake Smith, Camaren Smith, Ronnie McPherson, and JV Goforth.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
