Rosa Belle Wells

Graveside services for Mrs. Rosa Wells will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Leslie Aucoin officiating. Interment will follow. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Rosa Belle Roach Wells, age 99, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Northpointe Health and Rehab.

She was born on November 2, 1925, near Royston, Go. On July 1, 1944, she married the love of her life, W.C. Wells. At the age of 25 they both gave their lives to Jesus Christ and remained in faithful and active ministry for 40 years. At the age of 37 she received her license and her "pin" (which she was so proud of) and worked as a licensed practical nurse for 28 years. She also volunteered at Anderson's Regional Medical Center for 15 years.

She is survived by her daughter Sylvia Wells Coleman and her husband, Wayne, as well as a brother, Edwin F. Roach and his wife Linda Roach, grandchildren David Latting, Marcus (Keri) Coleman, Jason (Angela) Coleman, Michael (Pam) Thompson, and Darrell (Rachelle) Thompson, as well as 14 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. WC Wells, and daughters Dian Latting and Connie Thompson.
