Roscoe McCary

Memorial services for Mr. Roscoe McCary will be held Monday, April 20, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Long Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Marty Harper officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Roscoe McCary, 91, of Meridian, MS, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Trend Health and Rehab.

First and foremost, Roscoe was a Christian and faithful member of Long Creek Baptist Church.

Roscoe was an excellent electrician, people from all over the state of Mississippi would call to request his professional services.

He was definitely a people person, and the phrase "He never met a stranger" certainly applied to Roscoe's personality. He never forgot a face.

He is survived by his children, Ricky McCary (Teresa), Randy McCary (Nita), Lynda Warren (Jeff), and Brenda Wilborn; grandchildren, Jennifer Davis (Chris), Brian McCary (April), Justin McCary, Tiffany Rice (Mike), Angel Felts, and Courtney Stuart (Jeff), and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel McCary, parents, Jimmie and Rachel McCary, siblings, David Norris and Junior Norris.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Long Creek Baptist Church in Roscoe's honor.
