McCary Smith will be held Monday October 31, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Bucatunna Baptist Church Clarke Co. with Reverend Ronnie Cooper and Dr. Danny Lanier officiating. Burial will be in Bucatunna Baptist Church Cemetery. Ms. Smith, 93 of Meridian died Friday October 28, 2011, at Rush Hospital. She attended Bucatunna Baptist Church, she was a life long homemaker. Survivors include her Sons: LaNoyette Smith, wife Maureen of Meridian, Leland Smith, wife Charlene of Petal Ms. Stevie Smith of Meridian, Grandchildren Patti Duett, husband Timmy, Lee Smith, wife Tara and Aleisha Coleman, husband Shane, Great Grandchildren: Chelsea Duett, Bailey Coleman and Lleyton Coleman. Sisters Callie Gross, Rita Riley, Brothers R.C. McCary, James McCary, Austin McCary and Gerald McCary all of Meridian, numerous nieces and nephews. She was Preceded in death by her Husband G.W. Smith, Parents W.F. and Mellie McCary, Sister Marjorie Torrence, Brothers; Major McCary, Otis McCary, Horace McCary and Adolph McCary. Pallbearers will be Gary Riley, Greg Riley, Keith McCary, Randy Dearman, Terry Dearman and J.D. Neal.
