Funeral services for Roy Maxwell will be held Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend James Gordon officiating. Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Macon, Mississippi with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Maxwell, age 82, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a member of the Cathedral Assembly of God Church and was a Mason. Mr. Maxwell was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Lenelle Maxwell; son, Robert Maxwell; daughters, Betty Roach (John) and Susie Green (James); grandchildren, Melissa Maxwell, Dana Scrivener, JJ Misso, Robert Maxwell, Jr., William Maxwell, Benjamin Maxwell, Ashleigh McBrayer, Callie Roach, Chris Watson, Ashley Green, and Amber Meadows; six great grandchildren; brother, Bill Maxwell (Jean); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances Jane Maxwell; two sons, Roy and David Maxwell; parents, Joshua and Elizabeth Maxwell; and grandson, Tony McBrayer.
