Rubena Motley Dillard Services for Mrs. Rubena Motley Dillard will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 1:00 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Wayne Smith officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Meridian,MS. Mrs. Dillard, 80, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2010. She was retired as an Insurance Secretary. Mrs. Dillard was a member of Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church where she was involved in various mission organizations including the Young At Heart and the Beacon Sunday School Class. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a devoted friend. Survivors include her daughters, Julie Blaine and her husband Billy of Meridian, Susan Newman and her husband Ed of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, Allison Blaine, Andrew Blaine, Anna Kathryn Blaine and Alexa Blaine, all of Meridian, Melissa Newman and Spencer Newman of Huntville, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Heyward A. Dillard; parents, Joe Frank and Gladys Motley; and brother, Ralph L. Motley.
