Ruby Stevens Robinson

Funeral Services for Mrs. Ruby Stevens Robinson will begin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Branning officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Robinson, 84, of Meridian, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Robinson was an avid gardener who loved to plant flowers in her yard. She loved keeping her home in tip top shape and also loved to needle point. She was always looking for things to keep herself busy and active. She loved to host her family for cook outs and get together’s. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church for over 45 years and was a faithful and active member.

She is survived by her daughter, Candy Thomas (Rusty); grandchildren, Justin Stevens, Summer Thomas; great-grandchildren, Lilly Denise Thomas, Paul Brendan Stevens, and Mary Margaret Stevens. One sister, Dessie Dimple Bergeron of Birmingham, AL and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 16 years, Paul Stevens; son, Paul G. Stevens, as well her parents and her six siblings.

Family request memorial donations be made to Cancer research c/o The American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
