Rufus C. "Red" Massey Services for Rufus C. "Red" Massey will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 1:00 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bill Webb officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Massey, 83, of Collinsville, died Sunday July 17, 2011 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He worked for many years as a car dealer and in the upholstery business. Mr. Massey was a member of Collinsville Lions Club, where he served as president four times. He was a member of the MS Independent Dealers Association and served four terms as president. Survivors include his wife, Bonne Massey of Collinsville; daughter, Gail Krouce and her husband Michael of Stonewall, MS; step-daughter, Linda Blanks of Collinsville; step-sons, Edward Breland of Collinsville and Billy Breland and his wife Ann of Meridian; grandchildren, Lisa Webb, Karen Ford, Billy Breland, Jr., Alisa Breland, Catherine Breland, Stacey Keller, Brian Cottles, Jason Harrington, Lori Rich and Edward Breland, Jr., 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; sister, Lois Creekmore of Meridian; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Allie Massey; seven brothers and two sisters, and a stepson Jerry Breland. Pallbearers will be Billy Breland, Brian Cottles, Jackie Fulton, Danny O. Miles, Danny Miles and Benjiman Webb.
