Funeral services for Russelyn DeLorise Connelly Anderson will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00, with a service to follow at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Dr. Raymon Leake officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.

Ms. Anderson, age 85 of Meridian, Mississippi passed away on January 21, 2019 at Brookdale of Meridian.

Ms. Anderson will be remembered as a loving mother and homemaker by her five children. She enjoyed teaching English to Spanish students. Along with her other responsibilities and hobbies, Ms. Anderson was a member of Master Gardners; she sang in the Wesley Belles; and she was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Meridian.

Survivors include her children William J. Anderson IV; Nell A. Covington; Shawn C. Anderson, Teri L. Thrift, and Mary A. Lampton; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and her brother, David Connelly, his wife, Alice, their three sons, and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William J. Anderson III and her parents Charles R. and Delorise Connelly.

The family requests memorials be made to the Wesley House of Meridian, Mississippi.
