Graveside services for Ruth Adkins will be held Friday, September 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Roy Dabbs and Dr. Albert McMullen officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Adkins, age 98, of Meridian passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at her home.

She was a lifelong active member of Oak Grove Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 83 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna McIntyre (Stuart); daughter-in-law, Deni Adkins; grandson, Zach Adkins; special sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Germany; special nephew, Barry Germany; numerous other nieces, nephews, and sister-in-laws; special caregivers, Gloria Lafferty and Patti Niswender.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil W. Adkins and son, Ronald Adkins.

Honorary pallbearers will be the ladies of her Sunday School Class at Oak Grove Baptist Church.

The family request memorials be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church or             Sta-Home Hospice.
