Ruth Rutledge Linton Graveside service for Ruth Rutledge Linton will be held Thursday, August 20th, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, with Reverend Chuck Overby officiating and music by Todd Tilghman. Burial will be at Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Linton, age 83, of Meridian, Mississippi passed away Monday, August 17, 2015 at her residence. She was a member of 8th Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Dennis (Debbie) Linton and Todd (Dana) Linton, grandchildren, Chris (Emily) Linton, Brittany (William) Crapps, Brooks (Amber) Linton, Wesley Linton, and Joel Linton, great-grandchildren, Hannah Linton, Drew Linton, and Rilie Linton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nolan and Cora Rutledge, sister, Delores "Bunk" Snowden, and brothers, Ray Rutledge, and Monroe Rutledge. Pallbearers will be Wayne Rutledge, Steve Hughes, Chris Linton, William Crapps, Howard Gibson and George Lee Gibson. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com.
