Annette McLemore Memorial service for Annette McLemore will be held Friday, July 11, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Helen Tester. Mrs. McLemore, 72, of Meridian passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at her residence. Mrs. McLemore was born in Montgomery, Alabama but she considered Meridian to be her hometown. She traveled the world with her husband and children living in Singapore and Indonesia through the 60's and 70's. After moving back to Meridian in the late 1980's, she joined McRae's/ Belk, where she was employed for almost twenty-five years. She greatly valued her Belk customers, colleagues and friends. She was deeply loved by her husband, children, and extended family. Survivors include her son, Kevin McLemore of Chicago, Illinois; daughter, Allison Lockhart of Meridian; grandson, Drake Lockhart; sister, Diana Shortino; brother, David Watts and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Erskine B. McLemore; sister, Linda Taylor and her brother, Winton Watts. .
