Ruth Louise Siegfreid

Funeral Services for Mrs. Ruth Siegfreid will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 17, 2023, at Northpark Church with Rev. Vicki Gladding, Rev. Dennis Duvall, and Rev. Artie Burnett officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Ruth Siegfreid, age 97, of Meridian, MS, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Ochsner Rush Medical Center.

Ruth had a love of flowers and gardening. She was an avid reader, sharp bridge player, enjoyed traveling, and entertaining family and friends. The greatest joy in life was her family. She loved her roles as wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Siegfreid is survived by her daughter Carol Blackwell (Steve) of Meridian, MS and her son Jim Siegfreid of Bradenton FL. Also, her grandchildren, Stephen Blackwell (Taylor) of Chattanooga, TN, Clint Blackwell (Samantha) of Enterprise, MS, and Kelli Blackwell of Meridian, MS, and three great-grandsons; Preston, Micah, and Bennett.

She is preceded in death by her husband Edward Siegfreid, her parents F.R. and Loretta Mitchell, her sister Jeanne Grisolano and her brother Jim Mitchell.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest a memorial to Northpark Church in Meridian, MS.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 17, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Northpark Church prior to service.
