Funeral Services for Mrs. Ruthie Rigdon will be held Monday, September 14, 2015 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am with the Reverends Dewayne French, Chris Cooksey and Chuck Overby officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Nebo Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Rigdon, age 83, of Meridian, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015, at Golden Meadows in Quitman, MS. Mrs. Rigdon was a member of the Abundant Life Tabernacle and was retired from Lide Appliances. Survivors include her daughter, Glynese R. Thomas (Tony) of Lauderdale, Mississippi; son, Dan Rigdon (Judy) of Odenville, Alabama; grandchildren, Thomas R. Taylor (Jessica) of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Amanda Cooksey(Chris) of Pope, Mississippi, Daniel Rigdon of Meridian, Mississippi, and Danielle Winningham (Allen) of Madison, Mississippi; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Bobby L. Graham (Kristy) of Lauderdale, Mississippi, and sister, Hazel (Les) Little, of Meridian, Mississippi. Sisters-in-law, Wyvette Overby and Norma Johnson, both of Meridian, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted G. Rigdon, her parents William and Alma Vance Graham, and several brothers and sisters. The family request memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
