Samantha Ann Ivey

The family of Ms. Samantha Ann Ivey will hold a Celebration of Life service for her on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Lauderdale United Methodist Church, with Reverend Dale Moore officiating. Burial will be held at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Ms. Ivey, age 23, of Meridian, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020 at The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Samantha was a member of the Parent’s Circle Group, where she had many special friends. She enjoyed playing bunco with her friends at Lauderdale United Methodist Church. Samantha also enjoyed rock painting, Challenger League Baseball, Top Soccer, Camp Hoops, tennis, and bowling. She also looked forward to the annual prom.

She is survived by her mother, Kathy Ivey; biological father, William Ivey; biological mother, Becky Wilkerson; brother, John Ivey (Kayla); uncles, Josh Ivey (Stephanie); Donald Watkins, and Michael Watkins; one aunt, Brenda Watkins; her grandmother, Mary Watkins; cousins, Taylor and Emily Ivey; and numerous other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Ronald King and Alvin Ivey.
