Sandra Gay Sutter Hosmer

October 22, 1942 — December 25, 2017

Funeral services will be conducted at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home chapel in Meridian, MS on January 2, 2018. Visitation will be from 10:30-11:30 with services at 11:30 a.m. Graveside services will be held at Bethany Baptist Church in Whynot, MS immediately following.

Sandra Gay Sutter Hosmer has gone to be with Her God for eternity.   Sandy was known for her heart of compassion for every body's life that she touched. Her focus was always the heart of a servant.  She always put others ahead of herself.  Her joy came from serving her family and others which accounts for the success she experienced as a Social Worker for the VA Hospital.  She placed little value on the material things of this life.  Her favorite hobby was playing the piano and organ.  In her youth, she played for many funerals.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Stancil Sutter, her mother, Mary Louise Sutter and her brother, Mike Sutter.

She is survived by her husband, Coy Hosmer, her sister Judy Creel and her sister Daphne Moore. She is also survived by her son, Craig R. Hosmer and a daughter Kendra Larkin and her three grandchildren: Bailey Bryant, Kiersten Larkin and Katie Larkin.

Pallbearers will be Billy Hosmer, Jerry Perrigin, Lamar Moore, Houston Moore, Jimmy Creel and Stancil Reynolds.

Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com.

In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
