Sara Chisolm Neal A life celebration and dinner on the ground will be held Saturday, May 10, 2014, beginning at 10:00a .m. with visitation and a meal. The service will be at 2:00 p.m. at Corinth Baptist Church, Highway 495, Kemper County, with Reverend Bob Followell officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Neal, 92, of DeKalb passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a loving mother and a mother to all. Mrs. Neal was a longtime member of Corinth Baptist Church, where she served for many years as the secretary/treasurer. Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Pevey and husband, Britt of DeKalb; granddaughters, Megan and Leslie Pevey of DeKalb and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-seven years, Gerald Neal. The family requests memorials be made to Corinth Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be the men of Corinth Baptist Church.
