Sarah Ann Boatner

Graveside services for Mrs. Sarah Ann Boatner will begin at 2:30 PM Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Williams officiating. Interment will follow graveside rites. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Boatner, 72, of Collinsville, died Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.

Sarah Ann retired from West Lauderdale School District where she worked over 15 years. She always enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandson, Jackson. She was a loving wife, mother and aunt, and will be missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Boatner is survived by her nephews Shane Boatner (Carrie), Shannon Boatner, J.R. Litchfield, and Joseph Litchfield (Ashley); her sisters, Ola Nell Rigdon and Emma Sue Litchfield; her brother, Calvin Litchfield; her brother-in-law, Bobby Boatner; as well as a host of extended family members and friends.

Mrs. Sarah Ann is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Johnny Boatner; her daughter, Tiffany Ann Boatner; her parents, M.C. and Sibil Litchfield; and her brothers, Johnny Marshall Litchfield, Jimmy Ray Litchfield and Larry "Cotton" Litchfield.
