Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Cook will begin at 12:00 pm on Friday, March 2, 2018, in the chapel of Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Bro. Corey Fontan and William “Danny” Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Cook, 80, of Meridian, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018, at her residence.

She dedicated her life to her family, friends, and Jesus. She spent her life serving others. Sarah and her husband, Billy, made mission work and outreach a priority in their lives. She loved to take any opportunity to travel especially with her family. She was a multitalented lady who could do anything she set her mind to, including fishing, electrical work, and construction work on mission trips. She always looked forward to each holiday and making memories with her family. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church where she loved attending worship and serving Christ. Mrs. Cook was bold in sharing her faith, Sarah and her husband, Billy, took every opportunity to share their testimony and faith in Jesus Christ. Her legacy will live on through those impacted by her testimony and faith. The family takes great comfort in knowing that she lived a full life and is now reunited with her soul mate.

She is survived by her children, William “Danny” Cook (Donna), Sheila Neal (Todd), and Nicole Herrington (Adam); grandchildren, Lea Giancola (James), Jake Neal (Lindsay), Daniel Cook, Lydia Strunk (Justin), Dylan Neal (Hallie), Jordan Herrington, Peyton Herrington, Kaitlyn Herrington and Lily B; one great-grandchild, Jack Neal; one sister, Lois Miles (Tommy); and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years William “Billy” Cook and her parents, William and Howard Wright.

Family requests donations be made to the Fellowship Baptist Church Building Fund in lieu of flowers.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at the funeral home.
