A private family graveside service for Mrs. Jo Hendrix was held Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Hendrix Hill Cemetery, officiated by Bro. Frank Frank Gibson and Bro. Dwight Manning . Music was provided by Bro. Chris Gully. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Sarah Jo Hendrix, age 77, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2025, at St. Dominic's Hospital with her family by her side.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, James Hendrix; children, Cindy Bobo, Glennda Aust, Chuck Millsaps, Mandy Gay (Russ), Mark Hendrix (Kathy), and Tanya Hendrix; grandchildren, Brandi Lumpkins (Jeremy), Megan Skaggs (Tommy), Dakota Aust, Dylan Bobo (Olivia), Leah Robinson (Connor), Jena Bobo (Jackson Mason), Duane Hendrix (Allison), Bryce Hendrix (Gaby), and Ethan Gay; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Eleanor Gibbs (Hester), Steve Coleson (Margie), and Mark Coleson (Jo); and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Nelson Matlock, her son, Mike Hendrix, her daughter-in-law, Linda Millsaps, her son-in-law, Jack Bobo, and her parents.

Jo's grandsons served as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Baptist Anderson Cancer Benevolence Fund in her memory.
