Sgt Jeffery Alan Nowell, Jr. (Ret)

Graveside services for SGT Jeffrey Alan Nowell, Jr. will begin at 1:00 PM Monday, July 8, 2024, at the MS Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton, MS with Reverend Jack Kern Officiating. Interment will follow graveside rites. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Nowell, 37, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, June 28, at his residence.

Jeffrey loved being a father, and his son was his world. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a loving man and enjoyed gaming and spending time with his family.

Mr. Nowell is survived by his wife, Amy; his son, Branden Jeffrey Nowell; his mother, Lori Garrard; his father, Jeffrey Alan Nowell, Sr.; his siblings Stephen Nowell; Katie Nowell Schneider (Dustin); Jessica Nowell Wilson (Scott), Chrysa Meyer (Evan), and Laci Johnson Sigrest; his grandfather, Ray Nowell, as well as a host of extended family members and friends.

Jeffrey is preceded in death by his grandmother, Peggy Blevins; and his son, Jacob Michael Nowell.
