Sharon Kay Dennis

Funeral services for Sharon Kay Dennis will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at 1:00 p.m., at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Reverend John Willis officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Sharon fought the good fight and received her heavenly reward on April 30, 2016, at her home.

Sharon was born June 15, 1949, in Alexander City, Alabama, and has resided in Meridian for the past 36 years.  She helped build and run a successful business, Eastgate Tire & Service Center, with her husband and son for over 25 years, where she enjoyed building relationships with many of her customers.  She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, and will be missed by many.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, Larry Dennis; daughter, Marcie Dennis (Lillian); son, Matthew Dennis (Suzanne); granddaughter, Isabella; sisters, Sandra Smith Holloway and Stacey Smith Brackett, as well as three grandchildren and many other in-laws, nieces, nephews and family members.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, Thomas and Jeanette Smith; son, Mark Dennis and a sister, Starla.
