Funeral services for Mrs. Shawanda Parker will begin at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home chapel with the Reverend Dr. John Temple officiating. Interment will follow graveside rites at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in the Bonita Community. Mrs. Parker’s Family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 9:30 AM until 10:45 prior to funeral rites in the chapel. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Mrs. Parker, 52, of the Whynot Community, died Saturday, August 8, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family following her battle with cancer.
Shawanda was a baseball enthusiast. She loved to follow her grandson, Clayton, and support him in each and every game. She was a loving and dedicated mother; she devoted her life to being their mother and supporting them in all they did. She was a devoted and loving wife of over 39 years, to Stevie. Shawanda cared for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant and made sure each patient received excellent care.
Mrs. Parker is survived by her husband, Stevie Parker; children, Camron Parker, Brandon Parker, and Chase Parker; grandchildren, Clayton, Hayden, Brantly, and Jaxton; her brothers, Pete Bryant (Kimberly) and Sean Smith (Christene); her mother-in-law, Sandra Baker (Randy); her aunt, Diane Bland; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Shawanda is preceded in death by her parents, John Paul Estes and Kathy Haney Bryant.
Pallbearers will be Clayton Parker, Jeffrey Walker, William White, Steve Duncan, Brandon Parker. Ray Parker, and LaDarious Clark.
