Shawn "Adam" Long Services for Shawn "Adam" Long will be held Friday, Noevember 2, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Darrell Dummus officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Long, 22, of Meridian died Monday, October 22, 2012, in Bailey, Mississippi. He graduated from Clarkdale Attendance Center in 2010 and was a four year member of Clarkdale Football Team and wore jersey "31". Adam attended Meridian Community College and was member of Dimensions Drama Team. Mr. Long was working for Mississippi Power Company. Survivors include his parents Barry Dean Long, Sr. and Tina Long of Meridian; brothers Richie Long and his wife Nicole of Birmingham, Alabama, Barry Dean Long, Jr. of Meridian, and Chris Long of Meridian; nieces Larissa Long and Cheyenne Long; grandparents Leoda Dearman and Hulon Dearman of Meridian and Ann Long of Meridian and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather William "Buddy" Long. Pallbearers will be Michael Peavey, Jr., Hunter Potate, T.J. Pierce, Ty Gibson, Tyler Ricks and Myles Malone.
