Shelia Lemons

Memorial services for Shelia Lemons will be held Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Hickory Flat Community Center in Hickory Flat, MS with Bro. Eugene Stockstill officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Shelia Lemons, 62, of Meridian, MS, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026, at her home.  Shelia was a UPS Delivery Driver for many years until her retirement.  She was a diehard Ole Miss Rebels fan, often seen yelling at the television, "Run!!!". Her closet was full of Ole Miss attire.  Shelia was also a longtime foster parent for Boston Terrier Rescue of Florida. She worked hard to save the lives of many dogs.

She had a very a close relationship with her niece "My Sweet Joyce".

She is survived by her Life Partner of 36 years, Lorae Carter; siblings, Linda Wilkerson, Jimmy Lemons (Isabelle), Sherry Leggett (Bo), Debbie Mattox, Gloria Cokel (Kris), and Charles Collins (Jamie), and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by in death by her mother, Faye Collins and her father, Gordon Collins, her siblings, Johnny Lemons, Nan Lemons, and Ray Lemons.
