Shirley Fowler Garrard Homecoming celebration and remembrance service for Shirley Fowler Garrard will be held Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jamie Lamoreaux and Reverend Jimmie Dee Garrard officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Garrard, 67, of Bailey, died Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Shirley was a loving Christian wife, mother, Nana and friend to all she knew. Survivors include her husband of forty eight years, Edward A. Garrard, daughters Tanya Wood and husband Joe of Meridian, Elizabeth McDaniel and husband Earl of Bailey, Dee Sevier and husband Jeff of Daleville; grandchildren Lindsey, Jonathan, Taylor, Joshua, Anna, Jesse, EmmaLeigh McDaniel, Raven, Jarrod and Maggie Sevier; and many special friends and her Briarwood Baptist Church family. She was preceded in death by her parents Cliford A. Fowler and Lizzie Robinson Fowler and a sister Jane Fowler Latourette. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Shriner Hospital for Children or donations to Briarwood Baptist Church Youth group. Pallbearers will be Earl Robinson, Jimmy Hoffer, Kenneth Adams, Jerome Hembree, Billy Rawson, Jeff Barncacastle, Mitch Landreneau, Jeremy Barnacastle, and Weldon Lamoreaux.
