Shirley Mae Mcmahan Pace

Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Mae McMahan Pace will begin at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Dr. Rhett Payne, Rev. Jack Kern, and Rev. Derrick Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Pace, 82, of Meridian, peacefully departed the earthly life to join her sweet Savior Monday, May 7, 2018 at Bedford Care Center-Marion.
Born in Union, MS she attended Beulah Hubbard and graduated from Meridian High School. Mrs. Pace was a hardworking, fun loving person with her priorities soundly in place: God, Family, then sports. She was one of the youngest (age 16) Charter Members of State Blvd. Baptist Church (now Faith Baptist Church) a fact of which she was particularly and rightfully proud.
Mrs. Pace is survived by her children, Karen Moulds (Bent), Lynn Jellenc (Steve), and Kyle Pace (Janet). Grandchildren, Katie Moulds, Jarrod Moulds (Kara), and Stephannie Jellenc. Sisters, Joyce Lane, Judy Culpepper, and Carolyn Coker (George). Brother, Jack McMahan, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Tommy (W.T.) Pace; grandson, John Curtis Pace; brother, James Kenneth McMahan, parents, Katie Mae Smith McMahan, James Aaron McMahan and Ruby Williamson McMahan.
Pallbearers will be her nephews, Jed Lane, Greg Lane, Jeff Lane, Paul Lane, Jason Culpepper, Kevin Miles, Keith McMahan and Ken Pace.
The family requests donations be made to the Faith Baptist Church Building Fund, in lieu of flowers.
The family will receive friends from 9:00-11:00 prior to services at the funeral home.
