Memorial service for Shirley Moore will be held Sunday, September 1, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Lost Gap United Methodist Church, with Rev. Chaney and Rev. Joe Reynolds officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Moore, age 68, of Meridian, died Friday, August 30, 2013, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a school teacher and taught in Greenwood, MS and Lauderdale County, MS. Mrs. Moore was a member of Lost Gap United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Sam Moore, of Meridian; children, Joy Lynn Moore Jones and husband, Billy, of Biloxi; Rebecca Moore Ball and husband, Richard, of Honolulu, Hawaii; Robert Chris Moore and wife, Deda, of Hayden, Alabama; grandchildren, Victoria Faith Jones; Amy Hawes and husband, Derek; Robert Moore; Rachael Moore Beasley and husband, Kevin; Regan Moore; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Russell Brunson, Jr. and wife, Laura; sisters, Sandra Taylor; Mary Tract and husband, David; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Katherine Brunson. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Lost Gap United Methodist Church in Meridian, MS.
