Stanley "Stan" Gene Sanders Ii

Funeral services for Stan Sanders will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Brother Jack Kern officiating. The family will have a private burial after the service. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Sanders, of Meridian, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2019.

Stan attended Lamar School. He enjoyed golf, fishing, and playing pool—a hobby he not only enjoyed but was really good at. Stan loved the outdoors, rock climbing and other activities.

Survivors include his daughter, Madalyn Rose Sanders and her mother Casey Sides; mother, Gloria Sanders; brother, Ricky Sanders and sister, Roxan Sanders Haggard (Mark) and their children Kaitlyn Partridge, Mark Andrew Haggard, Adrean Sanders, and great-nephew, Arik Partridge; and numerous other loving family members including step-mother, Rachel Sanders, Steve and Vicki Murray, Mary Hembree, Kathy and Mike Wright, Tina and James Smith, Rush L. Hembree III; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Gene Sanders; paternal grandparents, Clyde and Rachel Sanders; and his maternal grandparents, Henry and Geneva Peterson.
