Steven Richard Mason

Mr. Steve Mason, age 63, of Meridian, Mississippi passed away July 1, 2020 at North Point Health and Rehabilitation after a battle with cancer.

Steve was a beloved father, brother, and uncle. He was a graduate of Fort Hunt High School in Alexandria, Virginia class of 1975.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  Most recently, he volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, working in the thrift store as well as on construction projects.

Survivors include his son, Jonathan Craig Mason; mother, Joyce T. Jenkins; his siblings, Donna L. Boyle (Richard) of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Victoria Lee Crawford (Jerry) of Decatur, Mississippi, Jo Mason Ritter (Jim) of Springfield, Virginia; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Allen, Samuel Boyle, Stephen Baily, Mason Crawford, Rachel Baxter, Owen Boyle; great nieces and nephews, Ella Hardy, Abigail Baxter, Sydney Boyle, Theodore (Teddy) Baxter; and his step-mother, Ann Mason O’Shea.

He was preceded in death by his father, Pelzo S. Mason, Jr.; his wife, Myong Sun Mason; his brother, Samuel Alan Mason; and a niece, April Bailey.
