Susan Linda Sims-Prescott

Funeral services for Susan Linda (Sims) Prescott will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 11:30am at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. Final internment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Meridian, MS. Rev. Paul Trosper will officiate services.

Mrs. Prescott, 75, of Collinsville, MS. died at her daughter’s home surrounded by those who loved her. She was a seamstress for over 20 years at Meridian Manufacturing.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Raymond O. Sims Sr., second husband Lloyd R. Prescott, her mother and father Susan Delmer Rustin McGill, William Claiborne McGill.

She was survived by her Life Companion Glendon “Buddy” Booth of Brooksville MS., her brother William Claiborne McGill Jr. of Tupelo, Sisters Elizabeth Brown of Plantersville, Dorothy Jenelle Dye (Lavon) of Randolph, Lillian Marie Harrison of Blue Springs, Kathleen Sullivan (Dennis) of Saltillo, ad Karriene Ayers (Sid) of Hickory Flats. Children: Patricia S. Reed of Laurel, Shelia A. Brown of Collinsville, Carol D. Smith of Lumberton, Lisa D. Williams of Sandersville, Raymond O. Sims Jr. of Brooksville, Linda G. Stephens (Kent) of Collinsville and a Foster Son Ricky Gardner. She also was loved by 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jay Boykin, Justyn Smith, Chris Smith, Eric Stephens, Patrick Stephens, Josh Sims, and two Honorary Pallbearers William Pickard and Nathan Rust.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2018, from 5:00-7:00pm at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
