Sydney Clarice Poore Wright

A graveside service for Mrs. Sydney Clarice Poore Wright will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 2:00p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Bro. Jeff Hancock and Sis. Judy Chambers officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Wright, age 83, of Meridian passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Mrs. Wright was a member of the Gideon’s Women’s Auxiliary, the American Legion Post 125 Auxiliary, and Crossview Church of Collinsville.

She is survived by her husband, Mr. Edward L. Wright; children, Barbara Smith, Carl Poore (Christina), Patricia Gordon (Steve), and Michael Poore (Rebecca), Edward G. Wright (Dorothy); eleven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Charles K. Poore.

The family requests donations be made to Blaire E. Batson Children’s Hospital and/or the Wounded Warrior Project.
