Funeral services for Mrs. Sylvia Joanne Miles of Meridian will begin at 2:30 pm Friday, August 23, 2024 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Brother Chuck Overby officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Miles, 88, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Ochsner Rush Medical Center in Meridian due to complications from surgery.

She is survived by her daughter, Christi Strayhorn (Mark); and her sister, Rosa Stys (Allan); as well as a host of extended family members.

Mrs. Miles was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Miles; and her parents, J.W. Leist, Jr. and Geraldine Leist Cooley.
