Tanya Mabry Ochello

A celebration of the life for Tanya Mabry Ochello will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., at Stenson Cemetery, with Reverend Danny Davis officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Tanya Ochello, 40, of Lauderdale, died Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

She was previously employed with Meridian Oncology. Mrs. Ochello was a very active team mom with the N.E. Baseball Association and a volunteer for Relay for Life. Her passion and dedication for baseball will live forever through Trojan Pride and in the hearts of Northeast Trojan fans. Tanya will be greatly missed by all, especially her friends and family. She was like a mother to all the children who knew her, and she enjoyed boating, swimming, and cooking out at Dalewood Beach. Mrs. Ochello was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Clarkdale High School and Mississippi State University.

Survivors include her husband, Peter Ochello of Lauderdale; sons, Tanner A. Garrett of Lauderdale, Anthony N. Ochello of Lauderdale; step-daughter, Brandy Ochello of Batesville, MS; mother, Daisy Mabry of Meridian; brother, Jay Mabry and his wife Rita of Meridian; nephew, Ragan Mabry and his wife Misty of Collinsville. She was preceded in death by her father, Linon “Joe” Mabry; friends, Mandy McDade and Ramona Gipson.

Pallbearers will be Benjy Baskin and Shane Haygood. Honorary pallbearers are Keith Mabry, Ragan Mabry, Tommy McDade and Craig Thomas.
