Telka Harwell Chandler Services for Telka Harwell Chandler will be held Monday, September 13, 2010 at 1:00 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Earl Wheatley officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Chandler, 98, of Meridian, died Friday, September 10, 2010 at her daughters residence. She was a member of Northpark Church of God. Mrs. Chandler worked at Alden Mills and Maywebb Hosiery for 59 years. Survivors include her daughter, Ruth Janell Ulmer and her husband Dewitt of Meridian; grandchildren, Toni Ulmer of Meridian, Larry Ulmer of Meridian, Rodney White and his wife Cindy of Meridian, Jackie Sharp and her husband Joe of Flowood; six great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. "Bob" Chandler; daughter, Bobbie Jean White and her husband Jack Wilson White; father, Holly May Harwell; mother, Myrtle Bradley Harwell; brothers, A.D. Harwell, B.L. Harwell, Jessie Harwell; sisters, Odessa Harwell Skelton, Juanita Harwell Truman and Bessie Harwell Adams. The family requests memorials be made to Northpark Church Building Fund.
