Funeral services for Mr. Tom Lewis will begin at 1:30 pm Monday, November 18, 2019 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Lewis, 91, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Tom was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church, formerly Southside Baptist Church, and later Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church. He taught Sunday School and was very active in his faith. He was an avid tennis player and also loved sports. Tom served in the U.S. Army, served in the Airforce, and later retired from the Air National Guard; he was an avid patriot and enjoyed serving his country. Following his military career, Mr. Lewis retired from the U.S. Postal Service where he was the Carrier Supervisor of the Meridian District.

Mr. Tom is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Ann Lewis and son, Mark Randall Lewis (Tjawanna). Brother, Ken Lewis (Brenda) as well as a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Mr. Lewis is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Jefferson Lewis, Sr. and Ellen Bain Lewis, as well as one sister, Marie Perkins.
