Thomas J. "Teeny" Riley Services for Thomas J. "Teeny" Riley will be held Thursday, July 26, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Union Baptist Church in Clarke County, with Dr. Marcus Finch and Reverend John Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Union Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Riley, 75, of Quitman died Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a long time member and deacon at Union Baptist Church. Mr. Riley retired from logging after fifty-eight years. He will also be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Cecelia B. Riley of Quitman; daughter Deidre R. Smith and husband Steve of Quitman; son Todd Riley and wife Jennifer of Quitman; grandchildren Kylie Temple and husband Tyler of Quitman, Courtney Boswell and husband Braxton of Meridian, Kayla Rae Riley of Quitman, Katie Jo Riley of Quitman and Kyle Oglesby of Meridian; brother Conway Riley of Quitman; brother-in-law Leland Brown of Kingman, Kansas; special cousin Jerry Johnston and wife Nancy of Quitman and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents A. W. and Ruth Riley; father-in-law and mother-in-law L.D. and Doris Brown. The family requests memorials be made to American Cancer Society or Anderson Cancer Benevolent Fund. Pallbearers will be Stacey Rogers, Wayne Henson, Kenneth Rolison, John Gary Riley, Larry Williams, Robbie Riley, C.W. McLemore and Randy Robinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Williams, Everett Webster, Larry Parker, Jim Wilson, Marcell Goodman and Bill Fontaine.
