Thomas "Tommy" Russell Fontaine, Jr.

Private family graveside services for Mr. Thomas Russell Fountain, Jr. will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Union Baptist Church Cemetery with Tim Kibe officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Thomas Russell Fontaine, Jr., 72, of Ellisville, MS, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 16, 2020.

Tommy was born on February 20, 1948, in Meridian, MS, to Thomas Russell Fontaine, Sr. and Eloise Taylor Fontaine and was reared on his family’s farm. Tommy enjoyed a happy childhood. Though age and infirmity were tough on Tommy’s body, he never lost the excitement of visits with his sister, a car ride, a simple ride through Sonic, or a new toy.

Mr. Fontaine is survived by his sister, Jo Ann Fontaine Kibe (Jim) of Columbus, MS; one niece, Deborah Holliman (Darwin) of Columbus, MS; one nephew, Tim Kibe (Sonia) of Morrilton, AR; four great-nieces; one great-nephew; two great-great-nieces; and a host of cousins.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, G.A. and Mamie Fontaine and Sam and Daisie Taylor.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
