Memorial services for Tommy Monsour will be held Thursday, January 25, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
At age 67, Mr. Monsour passed away Monday, January 22, 2018, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
As a legendary athlete, Tommy was a Golden Gloves Boxing Champion, voted best linebacker in the Big 8 Conference and a Linebacker at Ole Miss from 1969-1973. As accomplished of an athlete as he was, his greatest love and passion was his family.
Survivors include: wife, Cathy Monsour; daughters: Kim Monsour and Lori Monsour Hatcher (Scott); grandchildren: Carley Monsour, Katelyn Hatcher and Luke Hatcher; brother, George Ellis Monsour, Jr. (Kay); nephew, David Monsour; and niece, Pam Monsour Corkum.
Preceded in death by: daughter, Amy LeAnn Monsour; father, George Ellis Monsour, Sr.; and mother, Mary Earl Monsour.
