Threasa "Terry" Celest Forbis

Memorial Services for Mrs. Terry Forbis will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018, at 2:00pm at Union Baptist Church (Kemper County), with Bro. Mike Vick officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Terry Forbis, age 56, of the Damascus community, passed away January 13, 2018 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

For over five years, Mrs. Terry worked as a registered nurse for Anderson Regional Medical Center. Terry was a faithful Christian, who dearly loved her Lord, and selflessly shared her faith with those who she met. She would help anyone anytime they needed help. Her friends will remember her as a precious, generous, and genuine Christian lady.

She is survived by her husband of thirty-six years, Rodney Forbis; her son, Alex (Stephanie) Forbis; mother, Celest Adams; siblings, Tina (Gerry) Haulard, Tonia (Jeff) Barker, and Greg (Laura) Fossler; father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Carolyn Forbis; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Adams.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the local Choctaw Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
