Timothy Andrew Follett

February 4, 1962 — June 5, 2024

We lost our youngest brother on June 5. Timothy Andrew Follett, the last of the five children of George Leonard and Roberta Miltenberger Follett to arrive and the first to leave.

We will celebrate his life on Monday, October 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Interment follows the service at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Tim graduated from Meridian High School in 1980 and attended Meridian Community College. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1984, attained the rank of Senior Airman, and served as an air traffic controller until 1989 at locations in the Pacific Command. He was honored with the Air Force Training Ribbon, Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Overseas Ribbons - both Long and Short, Longevity Service Award Ribbon, and Outstanding Unit Award Ribbon. Upon his return to Meridian, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service, where he met his wife Vicky Faucette. He spent his later years lovingly caring for the family tree farm in Kemper County.

Our brother revered the outdoors. Stubborn to his core and sometimes unforgiving, he was also kind and unshakingly loyal, with an amazing gift for connecting with all variety of people. Tim selflessly cared for our mother when she became ill, thus enabling her to stay in her own home. He was happiest when outside, walking and working on the farm, and being with his loved ones anywhere.

Tim's parents George and Roberta, his wife Vicky, and his stepson Matt Goodman preceded him in death. Tim left behind siblings Susan (Gary Dion), Jeff, George Jr. (Lean), and Randy (Melissa); stepdaughter Lizzy Faucette; nieces and nephews Tim and Dani Follett-Dion, Adam (Rebecca), Jacob, Collin, Cameron, Nathaniel, Andrew (Caitlin), Forrest (Nico), and Ethan Follett, Victoria (Jordan Bruce), and Anna (Ray Hazlip III); great nieces and nephews Jack, Norah, Silas, and Ezra Follett, Waylon and Carolyn Bruce, and Ray Hazlip IV; and treasured friends Aaron (Tracy) Bolling, Gerald (Cindy) Marks, and Sarah McClendon.

Tim, you left us far too soon. We will miss you always.
