Timothy O'Neal Gibson Services for Timothy O'Neal Gibson will be held today at 2 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Richard Coats and Leslie Acion officiating. Burial will be in Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Gibson, 64, of Meridian , died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at his residence. He was a retired conductor of the Kansas City Southern Railroad. He was a stroke survivor for over eleven years and was an active member of the Tom Maynard Stroke Support Group. He was inducted into East Mississippi Community College Sports Hall of Fame in October 2005 for football and baseball, 1963-1965. Survivors include his devoted wife, Mary Harmon Gibson of Meridian; children, Jan Miller and her husband Eddie, Jason Gibson, April Britton and her husband Jimmy, Brittany Gibson, Tammy Boyette and her husband Bobby, all of Meridian and Ricky Dickerson and his wife, Julie, of Florence; nine grandchildren, Dru, Jett, Alex, Connor, Landon, Allie Claire, Chris, Hunter and Ashton; sisters; JoAnn Wilkinson, Frances Sharp and Patsy Ingle; and one brother, Ricky Gibson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall O. Gibson and Ludell Gibson; and sister, Belva Jean Carlton. Pallbearers will be Dru Miller, Jett Miller, Chris Boyette, Alex Gibson, Ricky Dickerson and Eddie Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Bo Clark, Waddell Robinson and Billy Wayne Sims.
