Timothy Earl Rutland

Services celebrating the life of Mr. Timothy Earl Rutland will be held at a later date. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Timothy Earl Rutland, 55 died Saturday, February 17, 2024, at St. Dominic’s Hospital.

Mr. Rutland was born in Jackson, MS. He attended the University of Southern Mississippi and was an avid Golden Eagles fan. Tim was a loving husband and father. He was tender-hearted and always wanted to make someone laugh. He loved cooking, history, 80’s music and his cats Baby and Stormy. He was a follower of Christ.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Stephanie Severance Rutland; daughter, Emily Rutland; sister, Loni Rutland; his stepfather, Lavell Armstrong; and his stepmother, Edna Hinson, along with many nieces and nephews.

Tim is preceded in death by his mother, Joanne Armstrong; father, Shelvie Wayne Rutland Sr.; sisters, Stephanie Renee Cerami and Elizabeth Ann Huff; and his brother, Shelvie Wayne Rutland, Jr.
