TJ Bishop Funeral services for TJ Bishop will be held Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ritchie Ables officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Mr. Bishop, age 87, of Meridian, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 at his home. He attended Anchor Church of God. TJ was a veteran of the United States Army where he served during the Korean War. He was an avid gardener and a passionate husband, father, and grandfather. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Loraine Conner Bishop; son, Paul D. Bishop and wife, Betty; daughter, Leisa Baysinger and husband, Bryan; grandchildren, Randall Sims and wife, Dianne, Shonna Viner and husband, Shane, Teresa Tucker and husband, Jerry, Brandon Bishop and wife, Jill, Deree Rogers and husband, Jason, Corey Bishop, Jarred Baysinger, Jonathan Baysinger and wife, Regan, and Jacob Baysinger; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Ray and Bobby Bishop; two sisters, Lucille Parker and Nadine Clements; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Virginia Bishop Sims and husband, Gary; parents, Silas and Estelle Bishop; and sister, Margaret Page. Pallbearers will be Randall Sims, Brandon Bishop, Corey Bishop, Jonathan Baysinger, Jacob Baysinger, Shane Viner, Jerry Tucker, and Jason Rogers. Honorary pallbearer will be Jarred Baysinger.
