Tracy "Trey" William Dorn, Jr.

Memorial services for Mr. Tracy “Trey” Dorn, Jr. will be held at a later date.

Trey, 46, of Meridian, formerly of North Carolina, passed away October 30, 2019 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Trey, as he was best known, retired from the U.S. Navy where he was a Chief, a rank he acquired in less than ten years. Trey attended University of North Carolina Charlotte before joining the U.S. Navy. He was a graduate of Iredell High School in Mooresville, NC. In his spare time he enjoyed racing motocross and working on motor cycles of all types.

Trey is survived by his parents, Pat and Terry Chapman; aunt, Norma West; uncle, Andrew Johnson; god-mother, Mott Brown as well as a host of friends and extended family.

Trey is preceded in death by his grandmother, Katrina Magness; father, Tracy William Dorn, Sr., and god-father, Ronnie Brown.

The family request memorials be made as donations to The American Liver Foundation in lieu of flowers.
