Travis Lavon Hoffer

June 6, 1983 — September 2, 2015

Funeral services for Travis Hoffer will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, September 5, 2015, at Bethany Baptist Church, with Reverend Marvin Cooper officiating. Burial will be at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Hoffer, 32, of Meridian, passed away September 2 in Newton. Travis was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Travis loved to see people happy. He could smile and brighten up your darkest day. A very "family oriented" guy, he loved any chance to fire up the grill. In his spare time, you'd likely find him with a fishing pole or mixing music. Travis was very passionate about musical production, and was the producer of many live radio broadcasts from Meridian, Memphis to New Orleans. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Belinda and Bruce Banks; brother, Kenneth Hoffer; sister, Kay (Michael) Clark; nieces, Chloe Clark and Kali Sealey; nephews, Michael and Zackery Clark; aunts and uncles, Gail and Linda Briggs, Ronnie and Diane Hoffer, Wayne and Teresa Dykes, Sherrell Bozeman, Sylvia Chapman, Glenwood and Peggy Martin, Phillip Dikes, and Eligah Stokley. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard "Zip" Hoffer. Pallbearers will be Red Clark, Dustin Chapman, Kyle Rutledge, Tim Rutledge, Jimmy Creel, and Carney Dearing. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com. Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00pm at the church prior to service.
