Services for Vennie Lee Clark will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Brother Wayne Edwards, Brother Bill Webb, and Reverend Jesse Napp officiating. Brother David Richardson will be providing special music. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery in Neshoba County with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Clark, 79, of Meridian, died April 12, 2010 at her residence. She was a Domestic Goddess. She was a lifetime member of Midway Baptist Church. Mrs. Clark loved to work with God's beautiful flowers in her many flower beds, as well as grow her own food in the vegetable garden. She was always in search for new recipes and was always cooking for her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and loved the Lord. Survivors include son Rickie D. Clark, Sr. of Meridian, MS daughter, Sandra Smith of Collinsville, MS, daughter, Anita Holder and her husband John Holder, Sr. of Meridian, MS, son, Blake Clark and his wife Sheryl Clark of Meridian, MS, son, Robby Clark of Collinsville, MS, 12 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olen Leon Clark, her parents, Joseph LeRoy and Venie Posey of Philadelphia, MS, two brothers, George and Leon Posey of House, MS, grandson, Rickie Clark, Jr. and son-in-law, Sonny Smith. The family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice for their special care and personal touch. Pallbearers will be John Holder, Jr., Steve Holder, Shannon Smith, Chris Alderson, Chad Clark, and Josh Clark. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00p.m.- 8:00p.m. at the Funeral Home.
